Update April 30, 2014: Success and Failure Combined in One Print! You can see photos now, but the result is a peculiar blend of triumph and defeat. Damage assessment will be crucial to determine if all that spaghetti-like plastic has caused any harm. The print began at 175 degrees but ultimately finished around 180 degrees after some adjustments were made. I estimate it took approximately 28 minutes, so printing was quite slow! Updated: April 27th, 2014, 5pm: Eye Socket Deepened for Third Eye Feature! After some printer malfunction issues, the model had to be restarted from scratch. It's a relief that the problem is resolved and the printing process can continue. Updated: April 27th, 2014, 2pm: File Repaired with Netfabb! The issue was somehow caused by a corrupted file, but thanks to Netfabb, it has been fixed and re-uploaded. I'm glad everything is back on track now! I used Meshmixer to add a third eye to this crow model for the Game of Thrones raven that Bran uses for Greensight to share his visions. If you print it, please let me know how well the eye comes out!
