Three Color Raspberry Pi Test Print Version 2

This is a three color test print/practice print that demonstrates the technique and shows what different colors will look like when used together.

Some colors are not very saturated and putting them over another color does not work out very well. For example many yellow colors will look green when put in front of blue color.

This version uses two layers (at .24 or .28mm layer height) for the first color of the stripe. This offers better saturation.

Additionally the secondary color lines are 1mm wide (2 line widths if you're using a .4mm nozzle).

So you can do one of these prints in roughly 10 minutes to see how the colors will all look together, to check print settings, to get a hang of the procedure.

It's really simple. Just pull the parts one at a time into your slicer and slice them. Make sure they are properly centered (select the item and right click and select “CENTER SELECTED” if you're using Cura - but Cura is also pretty good at automatically centering items when they are loaded into the slicer).

Once you have them all sliced, printing them in the order FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, and do not remove the prints until the third print is finished.

I would recommend using Z-hop (Hop when retracted) and setting it to at least 1mm. Otherwise the subsequent prints will cause the nozzle to be dragged across the previous colors.

Also, be sure support is turned off, or else your slicer may try to support the cavities in the third color, which will cause ugliness.

This is a practice print for this case.

https://www.printables.com/model/224942-vgulflpb-case-for-raspberry-pi-4-and-low-profile-i

I will uploading more cases with similar stripes and other decorations in the future (I am currently working on one of my classic Mini Desktop cases with stripes and artwork using this method).
