The design of this ballscrew is inspired by MSollack's threadless version. It was primarily constructed to test its feasibility, resulting in a larger and bulkier structure. Impressive holding power makes it suitable for numerous applications utilizing linear drive systems. Key specifications include 10mm shafts, 608ZZ bearings, 8x20mm cap screws with M8 nuts for bearing support, and 5x20mm cap screw along with an M5 nut for clamping. These ballscrews are available in pitches of 5, 10, and 15mm. An interesting feature is the telescoping effect produced by running varying pitches on a single shaft through rotational drive (as demonstrated in the video: http://youtu.be/wqZx3QNqSDY). Future plans involve remaking these with smaller bearings and mounting blocks to enhance their compatibility, particularly for 3D printers, with further updates expected.
