Designing a capsule carrying an egg for a stem event that will separate from the booster, deploy a parachute and softly land. This nose cone is for a 100mm 2 liter soda bottle the compatible threads to screw on the cap threads. Making it it two parts allows printing with no supports if the cone is printed with the narrow end on the print plate. PLA glue like liquid nails makes a solid bond. This has some weight to it so it could also help move the center of gravity forward Printed on a Geeetech A20 on normal PLA quality setting, except usied 205 for the initial layer and the remainder at 195. Used a brim under the cone to help hold it in place for the print. Printed the top piece separately The cone print time was around 2hrs 50 min, and the top piece only 15 minutes Designed program VIACAD, Gcode created in Cura
