Threaded SD Card Holder
thingiverse
I designed this SD card holder a while back, and it's been holding my standard and micro SD cards with ease ever since. The design features eight slots for each type of card, because I was tired of running out of space to store all my adapters. On top, you'll find three different designs - one has a small camera, another sports the iconic L symbol from Death Note, and the third is plain and simple. I printed this holder on my Ender 3 pro using a .2 mm layer height, and I've found that it works best when printing the top with support, especially if you're going for a logo design. If you don't print with support, the middle will sag, and you'll end up with a messy finish. Now, about those threads - they can be a bit finicky, so you may need to screw the top back and forth a few times to get them loose. It might take a couple of minutes, but once they're broken in, they'll tighten down securely. If you're having trouble getting your SD cards in or out due to a messy print layer or some expansion, just grab a needle file and clean up the area, or try moving the card back and forth until it slides in smoothly.
