Threaded Rod Mirror Spacer Dohickey

We've got a bathroom mirror that's mounted on two sides, allowing us to adjust its position up or down as needed. The problem was that no matter how tight I tightened the friction pivot points, the mirror would always fall all the way down. We didn't want to have to constantly adjust it, so we came up with this clever threaded rod spacer gadget. I printed out a custom part and attached a Command Strip to the wall side of the mirror, leaving the other end unattached. By screwing in or out the threaded rod, I was able to fine-tune the mirror's position until it was just right. The result? No more falling mirrors!
