Threaded Light hook for awnings
thingiverse
A threaded light hook for attaching xmas lights to the eves of the house where there are no gutters. The threads are acme 0.75 to fit a standard painter pole, or general extendable pole. This design is meant to help eliminate the need for using a ladder, and actually work vs the commercial ones currently on the market. I bought the commercial ones years ago, but they are no longer made for several years now, mine are getting sun brittled and breaking, so I wanted to refill the stock pile of them. The original was 3 sided on the threads, but to make it more printer friendly I decided to go with 2 prongs. I included the fusion 360 files if you need to adjust the design for some reason. I am not a great designer, so don't be surprised if I did something incorrectly there. Print laying flat and there is no need for supports.
