Threaded Insert Jig - 1/4-20 Brass E-Z Lok

Simple jig to help install 1/4-20 brass inserts - keeps the insert perfectly perpendicular to the surface while screwing it in. These threaded inserts are fantastic, but installing them properly can be challenging (even with the E-Z Lok install tool). After drilling the hole, place the jig on the surface and align the jig's hole with the insert hole. Put the brass insert into the jig and slowly begin screwing it in. Once the insert threads have taken hold of the wood, you can remove the jig and finish screwing it in all the way.
