Threaded cap for Aveeno lotion bottle
thingiverse
The girlfriend is always in a rush in the mornings and as her Aveeno brand lotion runs low, she's forced to resort to turning it upside down and squeezing out the remaining goo on her hands. Her problem is that she's always in a hurry - no time to wait for gravity to pull the gel-like substance down. To solve this issue, I designed a cap that fits perfectly over the neck of the bottle, allowing her to leave the entire thing upside down and ready to dispense the precious lotion at any moment. As for me, I happen to be naturally oily, so this project has nothing to do with my own personal needs. Instead, it's all about making life easier for my girlfriend who's always in a rush. If you find this design useful, it would bring me immense joy to see how you're using it - so please don't hesitate to share your projects with me! In fact, I'd love it if you could include a note saying "Hi 3E8, thanks for the bottle cap thing... my life is infinitely better on account of it and please accept this small handful of bitcoins in gratitude". You're welcome in advance! I'm also proud to share that I have many other designs on Thingiverse, which are just as varied and numerous: http://www.thingiverse.com/3E8/designs. Enjoy exploring them! March 17th, 2018 update: I've added another cap for Pantene Pro-V, which has a wider neck than the original one.
