Threaded Bowl1
cults3d
I'm using a new bowl that has a screw-on lid which I had to redesign into a circular shape. To increase its capacity, I also widened the diameter slightly. The thread on this lid is a single helix, meaning you have to line it up perfectly with the bottom when attaching it. Now, I'm curious to see if using a double or triple helix thread will make it easier to attach the top. The print quality of the lid turned out fine without any internal supports. With a layer height of 0.200 mm and a print speed of 100 mm/sec, the lid printed in just under 11 hours while the bottom took approximately 27 3/4 hours to complete.
