I'm working on a new stepper coupler design, specifically for printers. The 8mm side has been machined to a diameter of 6.9mm, allowing it to accept an 8x1.25 threaded tap easily. On the other hand, the 5mm side measures precisely 5.25mm in diameter, ensuring a secure fit with stepper motors. Both sides are reinforced with short 3mm screws that usually come bundled with printer kits, providing extra stability and durability.
