This texture set fills a gap in Autodesk Showcase 2015's library, lacking cosmetic thread textures. It includes a texture image, three normal maps, and a bump/displacement map for versatile use. To create a helical wrap, the applied texture must be rotated, but it can be scaled and rotated to generate threads of various sizes and starts. The triangular thread profile can be customized with the right normal map, displacement depth, and lighting adjustments, mimicking other profiles.
