Thread Straightner A8
thingiverse
Couldn't find the necessary components to manufacture this out of steel so I decided to print it instead. Performs an adequate job of aligning the t8 rods. Tested with a 25% infill setting and it successfully resisted twisting apart. For future iterations, I would likely opt for higher infill density. Next, simply clamp it between two straight and solid pieces of wood or any other suitable material, insert into the drill, and move in and out several times. Apologies for the makeshift footing design; it was necessary to ensure stability during printing, but I plan to revise it at a later time.
