I adjusted the slits to be slightly thinner as the thread was starting to come loose from the original design layout. The hole was downsized and moved a bit further away from the edge to prevent any potential issues. Version 3 refined the design by moving the hole and increasing its thickness to 0.5mm - I also parameterized the thickness so it can be adjusted to fit one of these Amazon winders: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003TL6CHM
