I created this design specifically to combat the outrageous prices people charge online for a simple, cheap little plastic 45 RPM adapter that is tailored to certain models of Thorens turntables dating back to the 1970s. These adapters fit snugly into the recessed hole in the platter of Thorens TD-165 and TD-166 turntables, although they may also work with other models as well. My goal was to provide a solution for people who are searching to replace these rare lost or broken adapters that have become increasingly difficult to find. V2 File reveals refined measurements along with additional support structures for printing on overhangs - features that have yet to be tested in practice.
