Welcome to Thorens Maze of Confusion. You are a fearless Treasure Hunter who has learned about the secret location of vast Treasures. However the Treasure is scattered within a maze, that rumour has it, no Treasure Hunter has ever escaped! Perhaps they had lost their way, or had fallen victim to a trap, or maybe there are Monsters! No matter! You are Cunning, Invincible, and above all Fearless! But you are not the only one who has heard about it! There’s no time to waste! Simple plan! Enter the Maze, Collect as much Treasure as possible, and be the First Treasure Hunter to Escape! This is a Modular playing field Board Game that requires time to setup prior to game play. The Sub-floor consists of Space Holders, Gears, and Connectors. The playing field can be a large or as small as you want to make it to accommodate any number of players. The playing field can also be constructed in various configurations to make each game experience unique. How to Play Game Play: The Game is played in Rounds. I suggest a minimum of 3 Rounds. Only the Player who Escapes First will receive points each round. Points equals the number of Treasure Chests that Player collected that winning Round. Tally the number of collected Treasure Chests after 3 (or more) Rounds to determine the Winner. Players Turn: There are 3 Actions a Player MUST take during their Turn: SPIN, MOVE, and ROTATE ONE FLOOR TILE Example of Game Play: Player One’s turn; Player One spins the Spinner and receives 3 Moves. Player One then takes their Player token and moves North one Floor Tile, ROTATES this Floor Tile left one Quarter Turn, then Proceeds West one Floor Tile, and South one Floor Tile where they collect one Treasure Chest. Player’s Two’s turn; Player Two spins the Spinner and receives 1 Move. Player Two is on a Floor Tile that has no aligned Path to an adjacent Floor Tile. Player Two Rotates the Floor Tile Right one Quarter Turn to align with another Floor Tile facing East. Player Two then Moves 1 Space East and ends their turn.Play continues until all the Treasure Chests have been collected. Once all Treasure Chests are collected, continue taking turns now focusing on reaching a Door and escaping from the Maze. Winning the Game: Only the Player who escaped the Maze First each Round receives Points for each Treasure Chest collected. Tally Points and the Player with the most Points after the Last Round, WINS! If there is a TIE, PLACE the tied Player Tokens at opposite Door Enterances, 1. SPIN 2. MOVE 3. ROTATE to be the First Player to reach the other Players Door and Escape to WIN. The Player who collected the most Treasure Chests in the first Round would go first. Example of a 2 Player Game: In a 2 Player Game with 8 Treasure Chests. In Round One, Player One collected 3 Treasure Chests and Player 2 collected 5. Player One Escapes first. Player One would receives 3 Points, and Player Two receives 0. In Round Two, Player One collected 4 Treasure Chests and Player 2 collected 4. Player Two Escapes First. Player One receives 0 Points, and Player Two receives 4. Tally for 2 Rounds would be Player One = 3, Player Two = 4. In Round 3, Player One collected 2 Treasure Chests and Player 2 collected 6. Player One Escapes first. Player One receives 2 Points, and Player Two receives 0. Tally for 3 Rounds would be Player One = 5, Player Two = 4. Player One WINS! Pre-Setup: Creating the Play Field and Sub-FloorThe Sub-floor consists of Space Holders and Gears which allows the Playing Field to change its appearance by rotating one Round Floor Tile and magically rotating one or more other connected Floor Tiles that sit on top of the Sub-floor.You choose the layout of the Maze and you choose which Floor Tiles will be connected and turn in unison. A scenario would be Player One spins the Spinner and Moves 3 Spaces then Rotates the last landed upon Floor Tile which spins a Floor Tile two Spaces away and foils Players Two’s next planned move! Watch your Friends amazement as they rotate a Tile and see other Tiles TURN magically! This build requires at the minimum for a 2-4 Player Game, 180+ metres of Filament (580grams), and around 40hrs Print Time. Tree Supports and possibly Outer Brim required for some STLs NOTE: The STL Models may display some artifacts from revision builds, but will not appear in Print RECOMMEND: Allow pieces to cool to room temperature on printers Heatbed before removing to avoid warping A .2mm to .3 Space Allowance / Tolerance was used for the .4mm Nozzle Prints
