2 x 3/16" Steel round rods (78cm & ~83cm) (30.7" & ~32.9") *Just cut .5cm / 1/4" short for a good fit* I remixed this incredible design to feature 2 steel rod cores, and I also combined the top two sections of the blade into one (Blade5 vs Blade5A & Blade5B) if you have a larger printer like mine. *Quick Note* Please visit the original creator of the file, SagaWorkshop, and show them some love by liking their work, subscribing to their channel, or checking out their other fantastic models. I would be thrilled to see more amazing designs from them in the future! * Check your Horizontal Expansion settings before printing to ensure that your rods fit perfectly. **I have included a TEST CUBE using the same cylinder I used for the sword. If it fits, you can confirm that your settings are correct before printing. The cylinder diameter is 5.2mm, giving about 4.4mm of tolerance already built in. *** Keep in mind from experience: if the fit is quite tight on the test piece, it will be extremely tight on a blade section. I also recommend doing an aggressive bevel on the steel with your grinder/file/etc. (or whatever tool you use) to help facilitate easy passage through each section.
