Thor: Ragnarok Gladiator Hammer

Thor: Ragnarok Gladiator Hammer

When I first caught sight of the Thor: Ragnarok trailer, I knew right away that I had to create this Gladiator Hammer from scratch. It's straightforward, yet utterly fantastic. Plus, it'll make an incredible prop for painting and weathering. This design was tailored to fit my Creality CR-10 (so the club's maximum height is under 14 inches). I reached out to unclejessy on YouTube because I saw he was crafting Thor cosplay for the New York Comic Con 2017, and he turned out to be a fantastic person to collaborate with as the initial printer of this model. He also provided me with invaluable feedback that I incorporated into this version. I'm even working on one final round of feedback to break down the club into separate features, making it easier for painting. Be sure to check out his YouTube channel and other social media platforms - https://www.youtube.com/unclejessy. - Print the club on the flat bottom (i.e., upside down). The side notches are at 50 degrees, so supports shouldn't be necessary. You'll need four of the grips. A dowel that's 881.2 mm (34.7 in) long and 28.4 mm (1.12 in) thick is required - I used a sturdy replacement broom handle. I wanted to add some weight to the overall hammer, so I opted for a heavy handle. Unclejessy used a PVC pipe that fit perfectly.
