THOR 210 frame Protectors
thingiverse
My Thor 210 has nubs on each arm that shield the motor from damage in a crash, but this design flaw causes the end carbon to suffer scratches. In response, I devised and crafted bumpers to absorb shocks without necessitating an entire motor protector's added weight. These bumpers clip onto the frame with small projections inside that grip the metal, providing secure attachment. However, they occasionally shifted slightly during use, so I attached foam tape to the arm ends and pressed them firmly into place for a tighter fit. If these bumpers break on impact, you can easily reprint new ones.
