See my projects and how-to videos at: https://www.youtube.com/c/Props3D I'm just getting started so a Subscribe would be a great thank you if you like this model. This is a WORK IN PROGRESS, but it does work! Updates: V1: Screw together body, grip and stock screw on, left side receiver details, right side text, sling mounts, tons of small details, trigger resets automatically on release Beta 3: Aliens Grip Swapped with M1A1 Grip, right side receiver details, barrel and stock cut for smaller printers, barrel and stock sized for 3/8dowel inserts Beta 2: Initial Model with Aliens Pulse Rifle Grip I was starting on a Aliens Pulse Rifle, which contains a fully functional Thompson Submachine Gun inside, by the time I finished the groundwork I figured I might as well do the rest. I made it a rubber band gun because... do I need a reason? It's kind of becoming my thing I guess. This is a single shot only right now, it'll be multishot later. Assembly: This uses two small rubber band around the band release and the post behind it, and again around the trigger and the post behind that. You'll need an M3x6 to connect the actuator to the trigger. Use 2 X 1/8 rod cut to 20mm to use as pins for the trigger and release. that's it. It glues together right now using 1.75 filament holes as guides. Thread 3/8 dowel through the barrel to keep strength. The front site mounts BACKWARDS to use as a rubber band gun, this is very important. Many of these parts require a 300mm print bed to print in one piece but they're all easily splittable for smaller beds with no issues. Question: Would you prefer I waited until the final is done or publish the first workable version? I can spend months iterating on these.
