The Thompson Constant Velocity Joint (TCVJ) consists of two cardan joints combined, removing the need for an intermediate shaft. A control yoke aligns input and output shafts using a spherical pantograph scissor mechanism that bisects angles and maintains zero relative phase angle. This ensures constant angular velocity across all joint angles. Aligning input shafts in the homokinetic plane reduces shear stresses and vibration found in double cardan shafts. Two models are provided with renderings and animations, but dimensions are approximate; for higher-quality animations visit: Cross type - http://imgur.com/a/nJUYQ; Ring type - http://imgur.com/a/h6ksJ
