Thomas Bangalter's Daft Punk Helmet

To celebrate Daft Punk's new album, I created a 3D-printable model of Thomas Bangalter's iconic helmet. Unsatisfied with existing meshes on Thingiverse, I combined elements from Aaron's design and made improvements to create a ready-to-print version. These helmets make great party favors for Daft Punk fans! The model has endless remix potential – turn it into keychains, magnets, or even gearshift knobs. Check out the README for file descriptions. Print Aaron's original STEP file, add an interior shell, use Netfabb Cloud for print preparation, and flatten the backside of the helmet. A version with modeled ear support is also available. Photos display both models – one printed at golf ball size and another level with full support that required manual removal of support structures. For larger wearable versions, interior remodeling is necessary. If you encounter issues or need alternative file formats, feel free to reach out.
