A Solid Edge ST3 created caged ball guide, made using Siemens PLM software, allows customization of counterbored holes' number, with the length being a sum of input parameters. Standard THK settings can be changed for "testa" and "coda" holes; these are internally linked in an Excel sheet. Variables include standard THK values: "testa" and "coda" as 20mm, "coda" as "testa" as 20mm, and "passo" or pitch as 60mm.
