A fully parametric caged ball guide, created using Solid Edge ST3 from Siemens PLM software, allows users to specify the number of counterbored holes; this determines the length of the guide. The standard THK parameters can be modified for the first ("testa") and last counterbored hole ("coda"), with an internal link between them in the spreadsheet. Variables include: Testa=Coda=Head=20mm (standard THK), Coda=tail=testa=20mm (standard THK), passo=pitch=60mm (standard THK), and NumFori=holes number= a minimum of two holes, as per THK documentation (https://tech.thk.com/en/products/pdfs/en_a01_184.pdf) for maximum guide length available.
