Update: 042920 - Despite my efforts, I'm still struggling to recommend printing this design. The tight lettering required a lot of sanding and a mallet to get them in place. I may revisit this project later but for now, it's on hold. Update: 031120 - With about two-thirds of the print complete, I've scaled up the design to 159.78% in CURA, which makes it approximately 18 inches wide. To reduce print time and material, I've moved the z-axis down to -21.5. The small hoses have printed with supports but may not survive removal due to their tiny size. To make the file more manageable, I've divided it into three parts using Meshmixer. I'm waiting for my printer to clear before starting this print job. Cura warns that it's not watertight, but I doubt there will be any issues with printing. Blender, on the other hand, says it's tight. The design reads "This is the way" in Mandalorian script. To improve the design, I suggest using tree supports and skipping the raft or brim if printed flat. A small nozzle and low layer height are necessary to capture all the details from a FDM printer. Feel free to remix and cut the design to fit other printers. The complete file contains all the necessary details for a single print, while the base file has a cut-out for the letters, making it easier to paint them separately. I've scaled down the letters by 1% to ensure they fit within the base.
