I've made a duplicate of my initial adapter, but with a bit thicker build. This was necessary to handle the pencil eraser, which had gotten damaged and required lifting with some extra support. As it's a small component, FreeCad seemed like an ideal choice for designing this replacement. After completing the first adapter, I wanted to take on more projects using this software, knowing its capabilities for creating detailed parts. With every new challenge comes experience and improved skills, especially when handling complex components. My next task involved producing these tiny erasers, requiring me to master FreeCad's navigation tools and become proficient in using its intuitive interface, allowing smooth transitions between design steps and execution of the plan. The finished product would be a precise replacement for the damaged Bic soft Sider Pencil Eraser, showcasing my capabilities with precision engineering, all thanks to my persistence in exploring and understanding the free software that allowed me to successfully recreate missing parts.
