Once Upon A Time…I made a model of a drain screen for my Kenmore freezer, and it looked so cool in its original size, I decided to blow it up much larger, and treat it like a safer version of a ninja star:https://www.printables.com/model/554895-pirate-ninja-star-kenmore-freezer-drain-screen-parThat model's purpose was structural. It had a purpose. This model? Does not.I hope you enjoy this model, and I hope you print it out (as I did) at the largest size your printer will allow. Me? I had to shrink it down to 90% of its modeled size. So the 5mm holes are probably…4mm?Why are the holes there? I don't know.Don't those ends look like houses? Yup, they sure do!Is this more or less safe than the pirate ninja star? Probably more safe? There are a lot of soft edges, there are a lot of hard filets. Everything should be curved on the top side, unless I missed something. Please tell me if I missed something. If you like it, if you love it, please tell me. If you hate it, well, that's fine too.Right now, I'm printing it in color-changing PLA or something. I'm sure it's going to be pretty. As always, questions, comments, concerns, questions about how I modeled this? All will be answered. And if you print this thing? Please share a make. And if you actually use this for something? Make my day, and tell me how. Seriously. It looks like it might be pretty up on a wall? You could paint it? Or print it with sparkly PLA? I don't know.
