Thinner case for Behringer VD-400 delay pedal
thingiverse
In order to achieve a delay effect for my Ukulele while minimizing space usage, I purchased a cheap delay, the VD-400 from Behringer, and created a smaller housing for it. To reduce its size, I had to remove the pedal. Although the resulting box is not as small as desired, the PCB was quite large initially. For future effects, I am considering software solutions such as using a Beagleboard to run basic audio processing. The case is held together by three M3 bolts and features an enlarged LED hole. To create the housing, I printed on card due to unavailable tape, but the paper can be easily removed after soaking in water. My OpenSCAD skills are limited, resulting in a messy SCAD file; stuartpb's Spiff Sans font is used for text on the front panel.
