Thinky The Imaganative Robot
thingiverse
Hello Thinky the Imagination Robot! He's got a tiny "I" on his chest and smooth eyes that are sure to catch your attention right away! There's not much to dislike about this adorable little robot - in fact, if you want to make one for yourself, just print it up and see how he comes out on your printer! But don't worry, I've got the lowdown on the smaller Thinky: its larger blue antennae is broken, which means it's an old version that's destined to break apart again. However, that's okay because I won't be uploading it to Thingiverse anyway. So, go ahead and enjoy printing up a brand new Thinky! Here are the instructions: I was 11 years old when I designed Thinky the Robot completely on my own in under an hour using 123D Design. The examples you see here were printed with 0.3 layer height using supports on a Printrbot Simple Wood. For the smaller ones, I used 0.5 scale, but trust me, it's not recommended because the antennae will snap with barely any pressure at all! You might be able to print it at 0.7 scale or even 0.8 or 0.9 (but definitely don't). Print Thinky with supports only - no need for a raft or brim. Have fun and enjoy your brand new Imagination Robot!
