(1/15/2024: Registration to HippocketAeronautics.com Plan Gallery is not working. Adding Apache24s' design plan and building guide in the "Files" folder here. Feel free to contact me if there is any building or trimming questions of Apache24s.) Here is a "Thinking outside of the box" approach to the Science Olympiad FLIGHT event's measurement box. Instead of building up a box and jamming your airplane into it, here we stand up our airplane properly, and then carefully align foam boards around our precious airplane. Simple and less risk of altering any alignments of airplane surfaces. Note. Check SO measurement box rule and cut your foam board carefully. Do not push the dimensions. Too big and you will be tiered. Leave a few mm on each side. **BOM:** 6x3mm round magnets x24 24 small metal pieces, Cut from food can DollarTree foamboard Test your glue on foam and metal scraps first. Calibrate 3d printer's flow rate before printing. PLA+ or PLA. xxx\_35d\_**TiltSide** files were designed for [Apache24s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duHd2XiFhw8 "Apache24s") (a 2024 Div. C airplane) that uses longer dimension of the box for fuselage. (See attached photos.) xxx\_33d\_**TiltForward** files are for those with wingspan in the longest dimension of the box. The airplane in the photos is my unconventional design, [Apache24s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duHd2XiFhw8 "Apache24s"). Fifteen of them flew very well at SoCal SO Summer Workshop.
