ThinkFun Working Machine (Lifter)

This is an Easy to Build Lifter Expansion Set.\nYou can also use your imagination to create a unique version.\nThe new pieces allow you to move the lifter arm up and down, stretching it and lifting parts.\nOne thing I didn't complete is designing a lifter box with cartoon-style elements.\nIt's better if you build your own lifter box - that way you'll have fun and boost your creativity!\nYou can combine pieces in different ways to create an eye-catching design; the only limit is your imagination! I apologize because some parts seen in pictures don't match the downloadable .STL files. That's because I printed them before realizing contest rules wouldn't allow big designs.\nHowever, I've posted pictures showing how to build them.\nAll pieces of this design can fit inside an area measuring 10x10x12.5cm\nHere's a list of pieces you'll need:\nYou can download these from the official ThinkFun website\n2” Rods - 3 pieces\n5.5” Rods - 4 pieces\n7” Rods - 4 pieces\nSmall Connector Plates - 3 pieces\nExtra Long Connector Plate - 2 pieces\nMedium Connector Plate - 2 pieces\nLong Connectors - 2 pieces\nSpool - 1 piece\nHub caps - 26 pieces\nHole Punch - 1 piece\nHook - 1 piece (invented by me)\nL - 2 pieces\nD (V1) or D (V2) - 4 pieces\nF - 4 pieces\nI (Part 1) and I (Part 2) - 1 and 1 pieces, respectively\nT (Gearbox) - 2 pieces\nPrinter Settings\nI built my own printer, similar to the Prusa i3.\nRafts: Doesn't Matter\nSupports: Doesn't Matter\nResolution: 0.26\nInfill: 60%\nNotes:\nUse supports only with "F (ring)" and "Hook."Post-Printing STEP 1:\nYou must take the .STL file for "F (Ring)" and "D (V1)" pieces and assemble them as shown in the picture.\nSTEP 2:\nTake one Extra Long Connector Plate with 12 holes, three Small Connector Plates with 3 holes each. Joint these plates with an L piece using sticks, making sure to secure them with Hub caps as shown in the drawing. (Repeat this step twice).\nSTEP 3:\nYou'll need two I (Part 1) and I (Part 2) pieces as depicted. Assemble them correctly to create a component that matches the provided picture.\nSTEP 4:\nNow take one piece with 12 holes and the Extra Long Connector Plate. Joint these using the 1-2 stick from the previous assembly, securing them together with two Hub caps.\nPuts the component you've assembled inside the previously assembled structure.\nSTEP 5:\nGather two Medium Connector Plates with six holes each, along with two Long Connectors (preferably nine hole ones). Ignore any hole discrepancies in the photos and stick to shorter versions if specified. Now, assemble these pieces around a piece assembled in Step 4. Ensure all is set securely with four Hub caps, letting the joint rotate freely.\nSTEP 6:\nAt this point attach the previously made components to the lifter skeleton using sticks, adding four Hub caps for support and allowing rotation between the joints (or alternatively use the 6-hole pieces from Step 7). \nSTEP 7:\nNow take the Spool and Manovella (T-gearbox) and assemble them as in the image provided.\n STEP 8:\nThe final step is to attach a T-manovella (Manovella gearbox) at the bottom using sticks with Hub caps. At this point, place the cable within the arm and then hook onto a reel by attaching the stick's cable within a bracket
