You can fit an extra drive, or multiple SSDs in the slot used for the DVD optical disk on most Thinkcentres. But the cover leaves you with an ugly opening.
This fills it in.

3 versions:
inset - little cavity for putting stuff (sticker/bezel)
flush - mostly flat
logo - my machines name
+1 blank filler.

To add your own logo, take whichever you choose and just add like a 12mm high text hole in something like tinkercad.
I'll be adding an inset/faceplate for the logo later for a two color or backlit look.

Combine this with whatever 5.25 to 3.5 (or 2.5) drive caddy you choose and enjoy the extra storage.

Print instructions

Unassociated tags: drive bay, pc part
Category: Computer
