Things i did at school 2 (standard parts and bearings)
grabcad
During the sixth to tenth month in GMP, I will list the project folders chronologically and detail the time allocated and tasks involved. Firstly, we had 3 hours for the skate wheel where we guided the rotation of a wheel using standard parts and ball bearings, based on specifications for lengths (from thickness, outer and inner diameter to maximum width for holding bearings in place) with a shaft diameter of 13. Next, there was a 6-hour polishing machine project plus one month of free time. This involved guiding the rotation of a shaft using standard parts and imposed ball bearings, lubricating and protecting bearings due to their short lifespan, modifying the shaft's middle diameter, drilling holes in the casing, and adding lip seals and grease nozzles for preventing grease leakage and protecting bearings from metal dust.
