This project involves various tasks, each with specific deadlines and objectives. The team started by designing a tiny race car in CATIA during two months, focusing on physical limitations such as engine size, battery space, and overall dimensions. This was followed by creating a valve in Solidworks within three hours, reproducing the wheel and cap from technical drawings. Next, they designed a robotic hand in six hours, creating the missing components and assembling the parts while animating its operation. Subsequently, they developed a fixed support for 'pieces holder' in three hours without reference images, ensuring compatibility between holding plates and metal bar strength in plastic. A static simulation was also carried out. In nine hours, they designed a duct tape dispenser with unique themes, first using modeling clay and then Solidworks, potentially being 3D printed if successful. In three hours, the team created a flange to close an electric motor while accommodating the bearing and screw holes. They also manufactured a pulley in three hours, ensuring proper shaft and belt positioning, size, and friction transmission. The compass and cylinder were modeled during one month of free time, featuring at least five different pieces and three moving parts for the compass, and standard circlips for the cylinder. An animated enclosure was added to the latter. In another free-time period of one month, a paper punch was designed using metal sheets, with specific requirements regarding material cost. Finally, a semester test involved creating a flange to hold two bearings, an axis, and box attachment within three hours, but without all necessary information.
