Thingomatic Low Profile Belt Clamp
thingiverse
I designed this custom clamp for my Makerbot Thingomatic so I can run Igus Drylin bearings on my printer. The original belt clamps were too large to fit around the tubes that held the bushings, which is why I created this solution. Another benefit, aside from being low-profile, is that it grips a bigger portion of the belt, reducing potential slippage and giving it a sleeker appearance. I printed mine with Proto-Pasta carbon fiber filament at 100% infill to make it as rigid as possible.
