A Fifth-Grade Project Takes Shape: Building a Town Out of Plastic Materials As part of my 5th-grade project, I embarked on an exciting challenge to create a miniature town using unconventional materials. With a keen sense of creativity and resourcefulness, I chose to utilize plastic as the primary building material for this ambitious endeavor. The "Complete Makerbot" - a fusion of an extruder, makerbot, and tube - served as the backbone of my project. This innovative combination provided me with the necessary tools to shape and mold the plastic into various forms. One of the first structures I constructed was the roof for our school building. By carefully placing the roof on top of the school's foundation, I successfully created a sturdy and visually appealing structure that would serve as a vital part of my miniature town.
