Thing-O-Matic INTENSE LIGHTING SYSTEM
thingiverse
Install a ring of LEDs purchased for another project into your Thing-O-Matic's wooden extruder opening. This provides ample light inside the chamber, but if using an extremely bright light, it may cause camera issues. Attach the power switch to the corner of your bot, or create a housing for it. Print multiple copies of Lightmount.stl while wiring long leads onto the light ring and attaching one lead to the power switch. Label the leads correctly and wire the light directly into the spare 4-wire connector on the ATX power supply or the FAN port on your extruder controller. Ensure everything is cool before setting up the LEDs, fitting them neatly into the small and big slots of the extruder opening.
