A slim whistle design, initially created as a pendant but modified for printing on FDM printers like the Up! or MakerBot. Please disregard the logo/URL at the back; I'll soon upload a version without it after restarting my computer. In the meantime, check out this 'WTF' copy - print, color and share a picture, if you please? :) Kindly ask someone with a MakerBot to try printing this design and let me know if there are any issues. I've tested it on an Up!, but it was quite noisy. Check out the link for more details: http://www.madox.net/blog/2010/12/28/3d-printed-whistle-thin-flat-wtf/ To ensure proper printing without support structures, tilt the model on its 'side' (the thin long side) before printing. I have uploaded a photo illustrating this orientation - the 'support raft' will be at the bottom. For Up! (PP3DP) printers, set your support raft options to less than 40 degrees and 10mm. Once printed, blow and enjoy!
