Thin LED Strip Holder Parts
thingiverse
After remixing another LED strip, I decided to create my own design from scratch. This one is incredibly slim, allowing the LED strip to slide in easily, followed by the top part snapping into place. Although the full model has yet to be thoroughly tested, I did remove a 1 cm section for initial testing purposes. The relevant files are included. To avoid potential waste and ensure compatibility with your printer, it's recommended that you print these parts first to gauge their printability. I plan to print several versions using my own printer to determine the optimal fill length, after which I'll upload pictures to share my findings. However, please note that I initially tested the design with 10mm parts; it's essential for you to test your printer's capabilities before investing material. The included designs come in four lengths: 10mm (for testing printability), 50mm, 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm. Six connector types are also provided: 1. Straight open 2. Straight closed 3. Corner open 4. Corner closed 5. End open 6. End closed For optimal results, it's suggested that you print the bottom parts and connectors in black to minimize light leakage. The top parts can be printed in white or any other color you prefer, as they are thin enough for light to shine through.
