This toilet paper holder core is designed to fit snugly into its designated space, ensuring a centered and smooth rotation rather than wobbling excessively. Since my own toilet paper roll is partly recessed into the wall, I noticed that this prevents the roll from getting stuck at the bottom and becoming difficult to pull out. You may need to adjust it to fit your specific holder (and spring); however, I'm not aware of standard dimensions for these items. If you do need to customize it, I recommend downloading the file, as I haven't refined it yet for Customizer. Within the file, there's an option to preview the fit of the two halves, allowing you to verify your changes before making them final. The spring I used is described as having a diameter of 23/32" and a length of 3 1/2", or approximately 18.2 mm by 88.9 mm in metric measurements. You can modify the spring's length within the `.scad` file. Keep in mind that the spring should be preloaded, with the cavity in the spindle being shorter than its actual uncompressed length; otherwise, it may fall out too easily.
