<p>This is an extra thick strike plate that I made to fix a gate that wouldn't stay latched. The gate swells and shrinks depending on humidity and when it is dry for a few days the gate would not stay closed. This thick strike plate provides more area for the latch to grab, keeping the gate securely closed even when it's very dry.
