Thick Fork

Thick Fork

I'm currently working on a thick fork project that's turning out to be a real challenge. The idea is to create a fork with a thickness of 20mm, which seems simple enough but the reality is quite different. I've been testing various filaments and settings, trying to get the perfect combination. So far, I've tried PLA, ABS, PETG, and even TPU, but none have given me the desired result. The issue lies in the layer adhesion - it's just not strong enough to hold the thickness of the fork. I've also noticed that the material shrinks a lot when it cools down, which adds to the problem. I'm considering using a 0.4mm nozzle and increasing the infill density, but I'm worried about overcooling and warping. Has anyone else dealt with this issue before?
