Another exciting addition to our bottleponics lineup! This innovative project was sparked by the inspiring stories of friends and family growing their own food during lockdown. We saw an opportunity to help people transform household waste into useful hydroponic planters, and we're eager for you to join in! You can easily attach these mounts to any smooth surface, such as a window, to hold your hydroponics planters or water tanks made from 100mm (4") 2-liter recycled bottles. These sturdy designs should securely hold your bottles, but please note that I disclaim responsibility for any accidents involving wet carpets! I tested these mounts with a 2-liter bottle filled with water and found them to be reliable for a reasonable amount of time. However, I wouldn't recommend consistently loading them with heavy weights, such as 2kg. To attach these mounts, I used 30mm suckers from Amazon. While I haven't tested other sizes, I plan to do so in the future if I can get my hands on more suckers. This simple design is perfect for printing without waste material and offers a wide range of versatility. You can drill holes in the bottle and add hydroponic planters, take a slice out of the top and use it as a planter or water tank, or even adapt it to fit with a water pump to create the heart of your new hydroponics system. Our bottleponics items are based on a plastic 2-liter bottle with a diameter of approximately 100mm (about 4").
