The Minotaur stands as a legendary creature in Greek mythology, boasting the physique of a man combined with the head of a bull or half-man and half-bull. Born from Pasiphae's love for a white bull sent by Poseidon, he was the offspring of Titan Hyperion and the descendant of down. Imprisoned by King Minos in the labyrinth at Crete's center, built specifically by Daedalus to prevent escape and conceal his presence, the Minotaur bore multiple names in ancient texts: Asterius or Asterion, named after the king of Crete who entrusted Zeus with Minos, their union with Europe bearing fruit. Eventually, Theseus, son of Aegeus, killed the Minotaur with Ariadne's aid. This item is part of "Scan The World".
