thingiverse
A custom enclosure for the HZDZ-1209 thermostat circuit and LM2596S voltage converter can be built using a 3D printer, available online for approximately €9. This design utilizes two lustrous terminal connectors for wire connections, features buttons, an LED display aperture, and a hole for guiding an optical fiber via a spdif connection. The clamshell design requires 4x 10mm M3 screws and nuts to assemble. This project may be too specialized for some users, but it can be easily adapted or used as a technical reference guide. STEP and Solidworks files are provided for users who wish to modify the design. For growing Habanero peppers, a stable soil temperature between 25°C to 30°C is crucial for successful germination. A heating element consisting of 8 meters of wire with a total resistance of 3.4 Ohms is attached to a plastic foam substrate and connected to a 6V power supply provided by the LM2596S voltage converter, resulting in a heating power output of 10.6W. Print Settings: * Supports: None * Notes: + A brim is recommended for stable printing. Post-Printing: * Apply super glue to secure the lustrous terminal connectors in place.
