Thermos plug

Replacement for a broken plug for the thermos. Two versions are available. The first one closely resembles the original, which can be seen in the images. The second version features a thicker hook part that provides better grip on the rod. Print Settings: Printer: Tevo Black Widow Rafts: Not Required Supports: None Notes: The print shown in the images is the fourth print made with the newly assembled printer. It was produced immediately after calibrating the machine with three 10mm cubes. Post-Printing: Some fibers joined the crack, which had to be carefully cut apart with a knife. Design Overview: Blender view of the first version is provided for reference. This will allow me to revisit my design process in a few years and see how I achieved it back then. The model was created in Blender 2.78a by extruding a circle multiple times. A rectangular hole in the central peg was made using a boolean difference with a resized cube. The thicker top part of the peg in the second version was achieved by adding two overlapping cubes to the original shape, which worked well with Slic3r despite being a bit rough around the edges.
