I realized owning a thermos bottle came with a glaring design flaw - the lid. It simply wasn't designed with functionality in mind. The grip area is woefully inadequate, requiring an inordinate amount of force to pry open after filling it with scalding water that's cooled slightly, creating a stubborn vacuum. While I appreciated the Thermos Opener v2, its length made it cumbersome to carry around. So, I took matters into my own hands and crafted my own opener, one that's significantly more compact and easier to wield.
