This adapter is for the outdoor sensor from ThermoPro: https://www.amazon.com/ThermoPro-TP60-Outdoor-Sensor/dp/B0711T22R6/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=ThermoPro+TP60&qid=1662948400&s=hi&sr=1-3 Before I got this "box," I consistently encountered false readings due to water directly reaching the moisture sensor. Since installing this solution, everything works flawlessly. Even if some water accidentally enters (which is unlikely), it can easily escape through holes in the bottom part. Replacing batteries is effortless - simply pull out the bottom section. The box can be attached anywhere using two cable ties, such as I did to a snowhook on our house's roof. Perhaps someone will find this adapter useful. Feel free to reach out if you have ideas or plan to repurpose this adapter and need modifications.
