This is an Arduino based OLED thermometer for IKEA LACK enclosures.

This project uses an Arduino Uno as it has an on-board voltage regulator that would accept the same 12 volt supply that I am using for the LED lighting. Other models such as the Nano and Micro will also work and can be powered from an USB supply.

The display is a slimline 0.91 inch 128 x 32 pixel OLED display. This is fixed into the display bezel using a small amount of epoxy resin from the rear.
The Bottom fill pattern is "Octagram Spiral" to get the effect on the display bezel.

The cutout for the display is made from two 16mm holes at 42mm centres. The Arduino holder also uses the 16mm drill.

Temperature sensing is by a Dallas DS18B20 sensor, this can be positions where you require within the enclosure.

All the cabling is routed internally as the LACK table has a hollow interior, you just need to push the cardboard hex out of the way.

The Power socket allows the connection from the power supply to be recessed unto the LACK so that it can still sit close to the wall at the rear.

Credit to Martin Schermann for the Arduino base.

Print instructions

Arduino code is available from my GitHub:

https://github.com/chillygithub/LACK_thermometer

Choice of Font is now available.
