Thermometer caps (29,5 mm diameter)
thingiverse
Old plastic covers - endings of an outside thermometer snapped apart due to years of UV damage from sunlight exposure. These are to replace them. The thermometer glass tube diameter measures 29.5 mm, and you can easily scale it in x, y, z axis using your slicer to fit your specific needs. The upper cover has a loop that allows you to hang the thermometer on a string (as shown in the photo). The lower cover features a square part that prevents it from rolling on flat surfaces, such as tables or windowsills. It will stay in place and won't fall to the ground. The square part also includes two holes for screws, M3 or M4 should work fine, while wood-screws are another option. There is an additional hole in the vertical axis direction that ensures direct air connection to the "small house" where the measuring liquid resides, so the temperature resistance of the cover material won't interfere with the measurement. Between the rectangular and rounded parts of the lower cover, a 6mm wide groove allows you to click the cap onto the previously used thermometer holder.
